A Tale of the Unattached and the Unlucky is chapter 55 of the Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai light novel series. It is chapter seven of volume five.
Summary[]
Outside the baths, after dragging Yukimura out, Kodaka tells Yukimura the truth about her being a female. Seeing it as a joke, Yukimura fails to accept this as a fact. Kodaka wishes for Rika to lecture Yukimura whilst calling her useless for not being present. By then, Rika, who hears being insulted by him, appears behind Kodaka as he informs Rika about what has happened. Afterward, Rika sneaks her hand under Yukimura's skirt, as Yukimura let out feverish moans. As Rika removes her hand from Yukimura, she confirms to Kodaka that Yukimura is indeed a girl, which Kodaka has been reiterating to Yukimura as Rika agrees in explaining to her.
Fifteen minutes later, Rika and Yukimura return with the latter, accepting the fact that she is female but is anguished by it nonetheless. Kodaka asks Yukimura for the reason why she has not realized herself as a female which Yukimura states as a result of family circumstances. Unsure of the real reason, Rika adds that people once had pointed it out to Yukimura about her biological sex but only thought of it as a mere joke. Afterward, Kodaka pats Rika's head as thanks for convincing Yukimura about her true gender, much to Rika's discomfort.

Yukimura asks Kodaka if she is still his underling despite being female. Kodaka affirms this while patting Yukimura's head as she plans to continue her service to Kodaka as she had in the past. Awhile later, Sena and Yozora appear and Kodaka informs them both about recent events. As Sena finds Yukimura to be cute, Yozora murmurs to herself of being careless and exclaims that Yukimura being a maid is unacceptable. Afterward, Yozora's nose starts to bleed, prompting Yukimura to immediately offer Yozora a tissue. Yozora continues to exclaims of Yukimura being considerate as she then murmurs to herself that none of what she plans go the way she wanted them to.
Afterward, Maria and Kobato return from the woman's baths and after Kodaka retrieves his clothes out the laundromat, the Neighbor's Club decides to head home. At the train, while all of his female club-mates are asleep, Kodaka is left awake until he eventually begins to experience drowsiness. As he is about to fall asleep, Yukimura leans and holds unto Kodaka's sleeve while uttering the word "Aniki" which leaves Kodaka awake for the whole ride.
