Amusement Park ~ Invitation Chapter ~ is chapter 49 of the Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai light novel series. It is chapter two of volume five.
Summary[]
On the fourth day of their break, arriving in the club-room, Sena immediately approaches Kobato and tries to bribe the latter by having them both go to "Yokoshima Wonderland", a popular theme park. As Sena continues to convince Kobato, Yozora snatches the theme park ticket out of Sena's hands and recalls her lonesome experience there as a middle schooler. Kodaka remarks that it would be nice for him to visit the aforementioned theme park again with a friend. Agreeing with Kodaka, Yozora suddenly declares to the Neighbor's Club members that they are all going to Yokoshima Wonderland together, which everyone happily agreed upon.
Sena ecstatic from seeing Kobato.
As Sena protests on Yozora's declaration, the latter points out to Sena that her ticket is good up to six adults. The Neighbor's Club then directs their gaze to Maria Takayama - a ten-year-old and the seventh member of the Neighbor's Club. As Maria soullessly laments that she can not go to the theme park, Sena states that she will buy Maria a children's ticket causing Maria to happily lunge at Sena as thanks.
While heading home, Kodaka checks on Sena about his father's recent actions. Sena recalls having seen her father drinking and then receiving a ticket to the theme park from him, all while being in a good mood. As Kodaka deduces that the matter of him being engaged to Sena is just drunken rambling in the chairman's part, Sena keeps harassing Kobato into calling her "Onee-chan" (Lit. Big Sister), which Kobato refuses as Sena cannot contain herself by Kobato's cuteness and telling Kodaka that she can not wait for tomorrow's outing.
