Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends vol. 2 →
Recent high school transfer student Kodaka Hasegawa is pathetically inept at making friends. When he comes across the brash loner Yozora Mikazuki, who typically chats with her imaginary friend, the two outsiders become the unlikeliest of allies. Realizing that they have no hope of a normal social life, the two outcasts decide to form a group called "The Neighbor's Club" in order to make friends and maybe even learn a thing or two about social skills. A wild and offbeat comedy about social outcasts who are obsessed with fandom.
Thank you all so much. - Itachi
Hello there! I'm Yomi Hirasaka, the original creator of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. I started just calling it "Haganai" myself, but somehow, that seems to have become the official title! Anyway, I'm a regular reader of the manga version of Haganai that Itachi-san draws, and I always look forward to the next issue. Kodaka, Yozora, Sena and Yukimura are all so cute, they all do exactly as they please in the novel as well, but since this is manga, their faces are full of life. I enjoy myself thoroughly just flipping through the pages. Yozora and Sena, in particular, have the most wonderfully unfortunate expressions! Heroines shouldn't make those faces!
Itachi-san is a terrifyingly talented girl! Well, the original creator's not gonna lose! The manga has it's strong points and the novels have theirs... But I shouldn't be this submissive. I'll do my best to make sure the original doesn't lose to the manga!
So there you have it. Please check out the original novels too! I think you'll find they have a different feel from the manga. - Yomi Hirasaka
- The English volume ends with a preview chapter for Mayo Chiki!.
