Summary[]
Hayato visits his son's room as he studies. They discuss enrolling Kobato to a different high school instead of continuing her education at St. Chronica's Academy, given her poor academic performance and study habits. Kobato suddenly bursts into the room in protest of her father's plans, exclaiming that she wants to remain in St. Chronica to be with her friends. Hayato gives in to his daughter's wishes, but not without giving her a set of requirements that would allow her to pass her subjects.
The next day, Yozora agrees to act as Kobato's tutor while also tending to Hinata's studies, at Kodaka's request. Realizing that Yozora will not always be available to tutor Kobato, Kodaka turns to Maria for help. While at first, unwilling, Maria enthusiastically agrees to help after Kodaka tells her of Kobato's slim chances of getting into St. Chronica's high school section. Kodaka then thinks about how having Kobato and Maria as friends is their club's greatest achievement.
