Summary[]
At her house, Yozora thinks about a beauty salon, thinking how it's been ten years since she's gone to one. She remembers back to the Summer Festival at the park and how the Neighbor's Club members were all having fun like as though they've been friends for a long time. She recalls her childhood with Kodaka and the burning of her hair at the festival. She says that the festival was a night full of catastrophes. Outside of her memories, she schedules an appointment for her hair. They ask her name and she says it's "Meat Nikuyama". Later, she arrives at the salon and is welcomed by Kashiwagi, who will be in charge of her today. Kashiwagi sits Yozora down and bombards her with questions which both bothers and embarrasses Yozora. She asks Yozora if she has a boyfriend, which sets her off internally. She says that she does, and Kashiwagi questions her about him. She begins to describe Kodaka to her. She mentions how people easily misunderstand him and that he won't notice the important things. Kashiwagi tells her that there are a lot of dense guys like that which causes Yozora to almost yell out at her for not understanding, but Kashiwagi adds that during these times, you have to gently make him notice since you have to treasure him. This calms Yozora down and after a short thought regarding her past with Kodaka, she requests a short-styled haircut.
On another day, Yozora is sitting outside her classroom, preparing to go in with her new haircut.
