Character Overview[]
Sayaka Mikazuki is a background character in the Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai series. She is Yozora Mikazuki's mother and is only seen in the manga
Background[]
Sayaka at some point graduated from St. Chronica's Academy and married Yozora's father. Her husband later has an affair, and Yozora says that he continued to treasure Sayaka despite everything, but this proved too much for him in the end. Eventually, he fell in love with a woman (Hinata Hidaka's mother) that has a contrasting personality of that of her mother's, with Yozora admitting that she was, in fact, more charming than her own mother. Yozora adds that Hinata's mother was incidentally her mother's friend in college and having had everything she holds dear taken away by her friend proved to have left a negative impact on her mother. As such - after her parent's divorce - Yozora tried to cheer up her mother by cooking for her but resulted in her being stabbed by her. From then on, Yozora developed a phobia towards kitchen knives, disabling her of ever cooking again along with the other confrontations she had with her mother.
Appearance[]
As a teenager, her appearance was strikingly similar to that of her daughter, Yozora, but with her bangs down to her eyebrows.
Personality[]
Yozora asserts that she inherited her blunt personality from Sayaka. She further describes her mother as a stereotype who graduates from a prestigious school but is hopeless in regards to household chores, frequently complains and is sensitive toward jealousy.
